Smiles Built on Passion:

Reflections on a conversation with the B. Rich Project

Dr. Jon recently had a conversation with Brandon Richard from the B. Rich Project where they discussed their shared love of sports, the significance of community, and imparted some career advice for the next generation. While some common themes popped up throughout the conversation, we couldn’t help but notice one particular thread connecting everything: Passion

Our practice starts with passion for what we do.

Passion forms the foundation of our work. Regardless of whether you are a doctor, athlete, or artist, passion is the result of years of hard work, dedication, and a love for what you do. We are truly passionate about the care we provide.

For each of us, orthodontics is deeply personal. As a team of doctors who come from families steeped in practicing dentistry and orthodontics, we share a deep respect for the art, science, and expertise involved in delivering high-quality care to our patients. We also cherish the opportunity to build connections and friendships with the people we treat. We take great pride in the 35+ years that Scott Orthodontics has served our community. We are grateful to the generations of families who have trusted us with their care. Being part of a journey that has a profound impact on our patients' lives is an incredibly rewarding experience.

Building community is another thing we are passionate about.

We were thrilled to talk with the B. Rich Project due to their mission-driven and community-focused approach. Investing in and supporting our local community lies at the core of our practice's values. While we take pride in spreading smiles throughout Polk County with our orthodontic care, we understand that supporting our community requires more. Giving back is a responsibility we take seriously. Over the years, Scott Orthodontics has donated over one million dollars in services and support to local schools, charities, and individuals in need. We are proud to work, live, and grow alongside our neighbors and friends in Polk County.

Passion transcends all disciplines. It fuels the determination of the young adults in the B. Rich Program to excel in sports. It motivates Brandon to devote himself to our community, and drives us to provide the best orthodontic care we can. We're so thankful to the B. Rich Program for the work that they do and for the chance to reflect on what inspires our work and our commitment to helping others.
